Red Dot Design Award 2023: Antao
The design concept of the Antao collection is meant to be reminiscent of morning dew. Just as each drop has its own shape, the forms of the bathroom objects also differ and are defined individually for each size. Furniture, mirror, washbasin, tap and bathtub are coordinated, but each shows its own character. Organic shapes and natural, high-quality materials underline the idea of designing the bathroom as a harmonious whole through individual objects. The jury was convinced by the collection’s coherent design statement combined with high quality standards and practical value.
Red Dot Design Award & German Innovation Award 2022 : Conum
Conum is characterised by a conical design language embodying dynamic elegance. Consisting of filigree and solid elements, the precise design is paired with a high quality of workmanship. The sculptural and abstract approach in the design process resulted in an innovative character. The combination of different volumes and surfaces creates surprising geometries that delicately interact with the space.
Red Dot Design Award & German Innovation Award 2021: Subway 3.0 TwistFlush
Thanks to its universal design language, the Subway 3.0 TwistFlush toilet blends harmoniously into different bathroom interiors. Its flushing system uses the power of swirling water for economical water consumption and thorough cleaning. Starting from the upper rim, the water flows through the conically shaped bowl, whose steep inner walls also prevent dirt deposits. The rimless form facilitates easy cleaning of the toilet, while the ceramic provides contemporary hygiene properties due to a special surface technology.
Red Dot Design Award 2021: Loop & Friend Washbasins
The design concept of Loop & Friends is inspired by basic geometric shapes. The washbasins of the series are oval, round or rectangular. High-quality details such as the ceramic water drain and the long overflow hole create a harmonious overall appearance. Thanks to a special manufacturing process, the thin-walled ceramic is resistant to impact and scratches. The dirt repellent surface CeramicPlus facilitates easy cleaning. With its colour concept and various installation types, the series creates ample scope for personal bathroom designs.
Red Dot Design Award 2018 and iF Design Award 2018: Embrace
Stylish, timeless and elegant design. Timeless elegance: traditional designs embrace modern functionality.The faucets and appliances can be positioned freely. They are suitable for existing drill holes for ease of integration and available with one or several shower modes for a wholly satisfying showering experience.
Red Dot Design Award 2018 : Antheus
Every line is an idea, every detail a value: the Antheus bathroom collection is a tribute to the classic modern era. The combination of materials and Art Deco geometric features reflects the essence of simple, clean Bauhaus design. The washbasin made of the innovative material TitanCeram is characterised by its sharp edges. The vanity top is made of high-quality imported marble, making it easy to use and maintain. Combined with the high-gloss stainless steel brackets, it restores the pinnacle of Art Deco style!
iF Design Award 2017: Finion
Freestanding bathtubs with precise edges and curves made from the exclusive and innovative material Quaryl® are the highlight of the bathroom. The metallic press-fit overflow valve, the water inlet at the top of the bathtub and the metal decorative strip or LED strip that surrounds the bottom are a subtle expression of individual taste and create a sense of lightness and floating.
Octagon
Octagon has been selected to receive the iF DESIGN AWARD in 2016, one of the most important design prizes in the world. The inside of the unusual basin resembles a polished octagonal crystal. Its highly precise edges, angles and facets were made possible by TitanCeram, the new material developed by Villeroy & Boch. But the basin is not the only extraordinary feature. Its positioning on a pedestal finished with leather or a real wood or stone veneer make the free-standing washbasin a real design highlight in the bathroom.
Just Silence
Its simplicity is one of the charms of the Just Silence outdoor hot tub, an award-winner since February 2015. A jury of 50 design experts selected the hot tub for the iF Design Award. As well as its minimalist colour scheme and different lying positions, the 2.13m by 2.24m pool also impressed with its innovative seating concept. Just Silence allows up to five people to sit across from each other in a staggered formation without sacrificing legroom!
Interior Innovation Award 2014: Squaro Edge 12
Squaro Edge 12 stands for harmonious balance, floating lightness, modern innovation. Crafted from Quaryl®, an exclusive material from Villeroy & Boch, it pairs luxury bathing comfort and premium aesthetics. Due to this powerful symbiosis, it was awarded the Interior Innovation Award 2014 by the German Design Council during the imm in Cologne – one of the most renowned design awards in the interior furnishing industry worldwide.
2012 Red Dot Design Award: Loop & Friends bathtubs
Once again Villeroy & Boch succeeded in convincing the jury of the red dot award with the new mainstream bathtub family Loop & Friends in the category product design: Square & Oval with two geometrical inner forms for a total of 22 bathtubs designed by Johan de Groot and Chris Hegeman. The universal bathtub-board, made of wood was also honoured with the red dot award 2012 for high quality design.
2011 Red Dot Product Design Award: My Nature washbasin
With its premium collection “My Nature”, Villeroy & Boch has once again succeeded in persuading a renowned jury of experts to present it with the red dot design award in the “product design” category. Among 4,433 submissions the My Nature washbasins were selected. The new collection convinces through its clear aesthetic, surprising flexibility in function and its scope for individual design.
2011 Design Deutschland SELECTED: Subway 2.0
The Subway 2.0 washbasin and mirror from Villeroy & Boch are entitled to carry the “Design Deutschland 2011 – SELECTED” label. The German Design Council has included it in a selected group of products representing outstanding German design.
2001 Goed industrieel ontwerp / Good industrial design award: Hommage
Villeroy & Boch - the tradition of bathroom culture in days gone by: Collection Hommage – the special retro-style series for the most exacting demands made of the bathroom. For its collection Hommage Villeroy & Boch, the ceramics manufacturer and specialist for lifestyle and home decor in the bathroom, has taken up and interpreted afresh the designs and materials from the turn of the century.
German Design Award 2020, Red Dot Design Award & KitchenInnovation Award 2019: it's my match
The winner of the year 2020 is the “it's my match” trend collection, having received the German Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the KitchenInnovation Award in 2019. The fuss-free “it's my match” trend collection was developed by young people for young people and consists of four multifunctional and versatile items: a bowl, serving bowl, mug and plate are available with three relief structures and in the on-trend colours of Powder, Green and White. They can be combined in many different creative ways and thus offer everyone the opportunity to create their own look of perfect imperfection.
Red Dot Design Award 2020: La Boule
La Boule takes Villeroy & Boch back to its original strengths: ceramic expertise and spectacular design. Helen von Boch wrote design history in the 1970s with the “Sphere”. With La Boule, the modern new interpretation of the Sphere, Villeroy & Boch is making a break from 1970s style and function. As a tableware set for two people, La Boule is ideally aligned with the needs of today's design lovers. It consists of two bowls, two deep and two flat plates and a serving dish in solid-colour Premium Porcelain. Available in matt black, shiny white and in a contrasting black-and-white version, La Boule was selected by the Red Dot Design Award jury as the “Winner 2020”.
Red Dot Design Award 2020: MetroChic
Villeroy & Boch is delighted at winning another renowned Red Dot Design Award. The glasses from the MetroChic collection impressed the jury in the “Best of the Best” category. MetroChic is a timelessly elegant Villeroy & Boch Signature collection that contains crockery, cutlery and gifts. Boasting a clear and distinct design, the MetroChic Glass drinking glasses were developed for 2020 and accentuate the elegance of MetroChic.
Red Dot Award 2018: Manufacture Collier
